The Decision

Well I probably should have started this months ago but better late than never. I've been contemplating lap-band surgery for at leat 3 years now, but thought that I couldn't do it, that it would be too hard for me. But in those 3 years I have put on 18 kgs and still rising. So in July 2009 I went along to an information session and that changed my whole life. Not only did it answer my questions about lap-banding, it also answered my queries on why people vomit or not lose weight. I also found out that I could apply to my superannuation fund to get financial assistance. The financial assistance was the major draw card to having this surgery. I really couldn't afford to pay for this any other way. I took it as a sign that I was meant to have this surgery.
